Craigslist Los Angeles Cars

Craigslist Los Angeles cars have a wide variety of cars and prices.  It helps if you know which car, year and model you want.  If you are not sure, take a few hours and check these out at a local car dealership.  After dealing with a car salesperson, the car owners from craigslist will be fun and easy.

What is Craigslist?  Craigslist is a website.  Even better craigslist is a free website for people wanting to sell their cars.  Because it is free, many sellers advertise their automobile for sale on craigslist. More important, craigslist is the number 8th website viewed world-wide in English.  More than 50 million people a year look at craigslist.  Part of this popularity comes from the way craigslist is set up.  It is set up locally.  There is no advantage in finding the perfect $3,000 car for you in Boston when you live in California.  When you search craigslist, you search the city you want.  You only get the cars that are listed for sale in that city.   You find the car you want and it is where you are.  How can it get any easier?

If you are searching for a popular model, you will want to check Los Angeles Craigslist Cars frequently.  If you are looking for a model that is often listed within a specific area of LA, you can check further back on the list.  An owner who has not sold his car for several days may be more willing to negotiate on the price.  When the car you want is listed, you will spend a few minutes looking at the photos.  Then, you call the owner with your list of questions.    After the owner has answered the questions to your satisfaction, you make an appointment to see the car.  A couple of your rules are to view the car during daylight hours and always with a friend or two.

Los Angeles is very spread out and it might take you a few hours to get from one destination to another.  Make sure to map out your car quest on Google Maps before driving so that you do not waste a ton of gas on the interstate.  There’s nothing like sitting in bumper to bumper traffic in West Covina when trying to find a used vehicle.  Once you get to your destination you should carefully inspect the car and test drive the vehicle.  It is always a great idea to invest in a car history and have the car inspected by your mechanic.  These small investments paid for before you buy the car can save you from making a very costly investment.  The car history is obtained after you write down the car serial number, also known as the vehicle identification number or VIN.    Once you have verified this is the car for you, all you need to do is pay for the car and get the title.  It is always wise to ask for a receipt and bill of sale, also.  These can go into a file and be kept for any future need.  If you got a great deal, and you probably did, the Department of Motor Vehicles may want proof.  The bill of sale will show them what you really did pay for the car.  Don't be surprised if the clerk asks how you did it.
